The Submarine House Family History
Our origin as a submarine shop was just the beginning.
Meet the Danner brothers, Jason and Brody. They were raised in the fast food business. Their dad, Gary, owned the first Submarine House franchise – a submarine shop that's still located on Main Street in Dayton, Ohio.
...Gary bought the business in 1984 and continued to expand the sub shops all over town. Jason and Brody followed in their father's footsteps and opened their own locations in the 1990s. By 2003, the brothers were ready to buy the franchise business from their dad. That's when they turned a clear vision of how they wanted to move the brand in a new direction into reality. Their recipe for success blended together key ingredients – a love of sports, dreams of owning sports bar, and the Submarine House menu that was the hallmark of the brand. Today, the brothers are expanding the sports bar concept throughout Ohio.
